Ross Town Council Recruitment and Application

Ross's now former Council Member, Bill Kircher, submitted his resignation from the Ross Town Council effective as of today, September 11, 2026. The Ross Town Council has opted to open a recruitment to fill the vacant Council seat for its remaining term. The successful candidate will complete the remaining term of approximately two-years and three-months ending approximately December 2028 following the Town Council's acceptance of the certification of the November 2028 election results. This recruitment is separate from the municipal election on 11/3/26.

To be eligible for consideration an applicant must be a current Ross resident, 18+ years old, a registered voter in the Town of Ross, and submit a completed application by Thursday, 9/17/26, no later than 4:00pm to the Town Clerk's office located at Town Hall, 31 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., or you may email the application to zkoblickdeleon@townofrossca.gov.

Attach a resume or any additional information that you feel will assist the Town Council in their selection process. Interviews are tentatively scheduled to be held at the Special Town Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd at 4:00pm and the Council will discuss and consider an appointment during the Special Meeting following the interviews.

Town Council meetings are scheduled for the second Thursday of each month unless previously noted with the potential for special meetings on occasion. This is a volunteer position with no compensation.
