November 3, 2026 Election Information
The Town of Ross will hold a Municipal Election on November 3, 2026 for two Council seats, a ballot measure to codify the reestablishment and operation of the Ross Fire Station, and a ballot measure to renew the Ross Valley Paramedic Authority four-year parcel tax to maintain rapid and local emergency medical service in the Town of Ross.
If you are interested in running, please pick up your candidate paperwork at the Town Clerk's office by making an appointment. Paperwork may be picked up BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. You may call (415) 453-1453 x105 or email zkoblickdeleon@townofrossca.gov to make an appointment. To become a Town Council candidate, you must be over 18 years of age, and a resident of and registered voter in the Town of Ross.
The deadline to submit an argument for the RVPA Parcel Tax ballot initiative to the Town Clerk will be 4:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026. Arguments will not be made available to the public until 4:01 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026.The deadline to submit a rebuttal against the above mentioned ballot initiatives to the Town Clerk will be 4:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026. Rebuttals will not be made available to the public until 4:01 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026. There is a mandatory word limit of 300 words for Arguments and 250 words for rebuttals.

VOTER'S CHOICE ACT
The Voter's Choice Act is in effect for Marin County.
What is the Voter's Choice Act?
The Voter's Choice Act is a law that allows counties to offer voters more choices for how, when, and where they vote. Now, all active registered voters are automatically mailed a ballot, early voting is expanded for more days, and voters may vote in-person at a regional vote center. For further information on the Voter's Choice Act visit the Marin County Elections Department.
What is a Vote Center?
Voters may vote in-person at ANY vote center in Marin County. Assigned neighborhood polling places are replaced by regional vote centers that open at least 3 days before Election Day with more services.
PLEASE NOTE ROSS NO LONGER HAS A POLLING PLACE. Residents can vote at ANY vote center in Marin County but there will not be one in Ross.
