Ross Emergency First Aid Training

The Ross Property Owners Association (RPOA) is sponsoring an emergency first aid training for residents on Saturday, September 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM on the grass at Ross Common. You can drop in anytime during this time frame for a 40 minute session which will include:
Station 1: 15 minutes – Stop-the-bleed, plus tourniquets and splinting
Station 2: 15 minutes – Hands only CPR with electronic response CPR dummies and voice command demo teaching AEDs, and
Station 3: 10 minutes – Narcan administration.
Attendees will practice on battery-operated CPR chests and training AED machines. For handouts we have assembled 96 stop-the-bleed bags, 125 dual dose boxes of Narcan, 100 one-way face shields for breath assist, plus 500 fentanyl test kits. We will also have several Slishman Gen 2 traction splints on hand.
